Gen. A. W. Greely (AP-141)

Fifteen members of 118th TRS boarded the USS General A. W. Greely at Calcutta, India 07 NOV 1945. The ship pulled away from the dock 08 NOV and spent the night in port, leaving the next morning. 12 Nov they arrived at Colombo, Ceylon for fuel and water, departing at noon the next day. Second stop was Port Said on the Suez Canal 23 NOV for fuel and water. They were underway the morning of 24 NOV and arrived at New York Harbor 1600 on 05 DEC. Docked at 0800 the next day and disembarked that afternoon.
